Company Background: At Miller-Keystone Blood Center, our mission is to save lives by partnering with our community to provide a continuous supply of blood services to our community.Position Summary: We are hiring mobile phlebotomists (Collection Specialists) who enjoy interacting with the public and being part of a team that helps save lives through community blood drives. Our phlebotomists draw voluntary blood product donations from healthy donors who want to make a difference by saving lives.HOURS: Full Time - AM (7am to 3pm) and PM (12pm to 8pm) are the scheduled shifts, plus every other weekend, and rotating holidays requiredQualifications:
Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Competency in taking manual blood pressure and pulse.
Ability to work with computers and tablets, a plus.
Customer service experience.
Flexibility.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
A valid driver's license and personal transportation is required.Pay and Bonuses:
Starting Rate is $17 per hour
New Hire Bonuses: You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus. Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service.Benefits:
