Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the healthcare industry, situated in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the accounting team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and managing budget processes. This role also involves coordinating annual audits, conducting financial analysis, and establishing financial policies and procedures.Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasting reports Manage the accounting team, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions Ensure the company's compliance with financial regulations and tax laws Coordinate annual audits with external auditors Identify areas for cost reduction and protect company assets Review financial statements to assess the company's financial health Manage the budget process, including establishing schedules and analyzing variances Establish and monitor financial policies and procedures Oversee the hiring, training, and retention of accounting staff Utilize 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Crystal Reports, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Budget Processes skills. Requirements Proficiency in 3M Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Software Systems Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services Demonstrated experience with CRM Ability to work with Crystal Reports Proficiency in managing Accounting Functions Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proven experience in Auditing Expertise in Budget Processes Previous experience in a healthcare or NHS environment is desirable A relevant degree or professional qualification in finance or accounting is preferred Strong leadership skills to manage and guide the team Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to business needs Strong analytical skills and attention to detail High level of integrity and professionalism.
