Duties:
Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
Assist the dentist during dental proceduresEx: Fillings,Crowns, Extractions
Take dental x-rays on patients. Must have current dental radiology certification
Sterilize and maintain treatment rooms and dental instruments
Perform dental charting and update patient medical records using DENTRIX software
Must have current OSHA, HIPPAA, CHILD ABUSE, CPR and FIRST AID certifications.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
X-ray certification required
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
Familiarity with dentrix preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
