DescriptionNGR Operator will remove scrap from bins and gaylords.
2nd Shift, 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour plus $2.10 shift differential per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Remove scrap from bins and Gaylords in an efficient manner
Identify defects in product and remove prior to feeding into the machine
Separate product streams
Read and comprehend work instructions
Complete all required paperwork completely and accurately
Maintain budgeted resin levels
Understand machine mechanics
Job setup or changeover on machine with minimal supervision
Ability to comprehend and plan feeding conveyer and rolls simultaneously
Ability to analyze control screen data and initiate improvements based on readings
Capable of changing screens and blades
Understands and operates machine at the proper settings
Ability to recognize and avoid possible melt downs
Able to resolve minor technical problems independently
Identify E-stops and safety sensitive areas
Assist in Maintenance PM's
Housekeeping
Workbenches clean and organized
Scrap removed
Trash dumped
Floors swept
Ensure aisles are clear of bins and remain unobstructed
Excess or unused materials removed
Practice safe behavior with regards to equipment and task

General:
Must be capable of following work instructions
Must be capable of reading safety rules
Must be able to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-pace environment
Must be capable of maintaining good attendanceEducation and/or Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or its equivalency
At least 6 months of manufacturing work history desired
Language Skills:
Must be able to be trained to read, speak, and write English with good interpersonal skillsMathematical Skills:
Must be capable of performing addition, subtraction, multiplication and division calculations.Reasoning Ability:
Must possess good organization and time management skills and practicesCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Work is performed by using both hands and arms while in a standing position for an eight-hour shift. Frequently bends, reaches, twists, pushes, pulls, squats, or kneels.
