Description Senior FP& AOur client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Senior FP& A to join their dynamic team for a contract role. As the Senior FP& A, you will be responsible for leading financial planning and analysis activities, with a strong focus on inventory analysis, demand planning, and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. This role requires advanced proficiency in Excel and experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.Responsibilities of Senior FP& A
Drive the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
Conduct detailed analysis of inventory levels and trends to optimize inventory management and reduce carrying costs.
Analyze and forecast product demand to align production and inventory levels with market requirements.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to create financial models, perform data analysis, and generate detailed reports.
Apply financial analysis expertise within a manufacturing setting, addressing industry-specific challenges and supporting operational efficiency.
Oversee master planning activities to synchronize production schedules with financial objectives and market demand.
Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Prepare and manage financial forecasts, analyzing variances and providing actionable insights to senior management.
Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to prepare accurate budgets and track financial performance.
Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure financial strategies are aligned with supply chain operations and goals.
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications of Senior FP& A
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
5+ years of experience in FP& A, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidations.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a must.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with financial modeling and complex data analysis.
Demonstrated expertise in inventory analysis, demand planning, and supply chain management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate financial insights effectively.
Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
