In this position, you will undertake foundational tasks within the District Construction Unit. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the examination of completed work unit documentation and materials to verify their accuracy and compliance with Department regulations. You will also support the management, coordination, and oversight of the District's field construction project records and documentation through the use of ECMS, the PennDOT Project Collaboration Center (PPCC), and mobile construction applications on PennDOT-issued iPads. Additionally, you will assist in the technical evaluation of calculated material costs for highway and bridge construction projects.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, vendor controlled work hours

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, ad-hoc, at the discretion of the supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Bridgeville.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Graduation from high school. or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
