Description We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join our team and contribute to the growth of our client's business. The role involves providing remote telecom support to customers, managing and maintaining phone services, and using diagnostic skills to troubleshoot technical issues. This position is available for remote work, adhering to East Coast hours, and offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Provide remote support to customers, addressing their telecommunications needs and resolving issues efficiently. Leverage technical expertise to manage and maintain customer phone services, ensuring seamless communication. Open service tickets to track and resolve customer issues, working closely with the technical team. Utilize diagnostic skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems related to telecommunications. Communicate effectively with customers, keeping them informed about the status of their service and addressing their inquiries promptly. Monitor customer accounts, ensuring they are up-to-date and taking appropriate action when necessary. Utilize knowledge of Voice Over IP (VOIP) to enhance customer service and support. Work collaboratively with team members to drive business growth and improve customer service. Adhere to operational procedures and company standards, maintaining professionalism at all times. Requirements Position requires a minimum of one year of experience in a telecommunications role or similar field. Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and clients. Experience with VOIP (Voice Over IP) systems is essential. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Familiarity with telecommunications systems, software, and hardware. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest telecommunications technologies and trends. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Relevant certifications in telecommunications or related field would be advantageous. Must have a commitment to ongoing detail oriented development in the telecommunications field. Availability to work outside of traditional office hours when necessary for system updates or troubleshooting.
