JOB DESCRIPTIONPlease note this is a hybrid position that requires the employee to report to the office 2 times per month. Initial training may also be conducted in person 2-3 times per week. Employees must live within reasonable driving distance to the office.Must be able to work 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. pacific or 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. mountain time zone. The manager will work with the employee on what schedule suits best.The Associate Account Services Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and execution of administrative and processing requirements in Account Services to effectively support our internal and external customers. The position is responsible for daily interaction with and service and support of both internal and external customers, ensuring customer requests for benefit summaries, administrative level changes, and contact updates are processed timely to ensure customer and Delta Dental success, and understanding and supporting the accurate submission of account data in the organization's systems. This position will work in partnership with our Account Services Coordinators to provide a high level of administrative support that assists the Account Managers with securing and strengthening the foundation of our organization.RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains a solid understanding of system configuration of customer benefit structure and products and plan designs necessary to accurately process administrative and non-rated changes to existing business, requests for information, benefit highlight summaries as well as other related client requests.

Collaborates with other functional areas to secure data for presentations or report generation as it relates to client inquiries or issues.

Researches and pursues resolution of issues using systems and workflows and communicates resolution back to the appropriate party.

Ability to consistently interpret and summarize information from internal departments in a clear and concise response to external customers.

Supports open enrollment meetings and occasionally delivers presentations as required at customer locations and through virtual platforms.

Supports of special projects and miscellaneous responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma/GED required.

3 or more years related dental or healthcare experience in Sales and Account Management with a focus on administrative/client support preferred; experience in direct and indirect client support.

Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. in pacific or mountain time zone.

An insurance license may be required in some states.

Familiarity with Delta Dental and competitor products and services available.

Familiarity with service guarantees, Summary Plan Description (SPD), and contractual language preferred.

Knowledge of Current Dental Terminology (CDT) codes and dental nomenclature.

Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills.

Proven organizational, task management and multi-tasking skills.

Ability to adhere to deadlines and provide exceptional follow through.

Detail-oriented, flexible work style and creative thinking skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve results.

Ability to independently prioritize work, establish, understand, and follow work rules and procedures, and take action to improve existing processes.

Knowledge and application of English grammar including composition, editing, and prooing skills.

Basic proficiency in Excel. Salesforce experience is a plus!

Ability to handle detailed work, work with varying types of data and maintain confidentiality.

Ability to display a courteous, patient, and helpful attitude toward employees.

Base Pay InformationThe national base pay range at the end is a good faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, sk lls, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications.
