We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join our specialty chemicals team.Job SummaryThis position is responsible for strategically facilitating the sales of Specialty Polyurethane products in an autonomous environment to ensure achievement of sales objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop business in new and existing accounts for continual sales growth within the designated segment.
Manage commercial relationships and service needs of existing polyurethane systems accounts.
Meet and exceed designated sales budget on a consistent basis for the business year.
Generate and follow through on all new leads and referrals presented from internal and external sources.
Support R&D by conducting evaluations on company and competitor products, both internally and externally with customers.
Coordinate and communicate critical information between customers and the Company regarding shipping, schedules, forecasts, quality, technical issues, pricing, and other miscellaneous issues.
Participate in cross-functional teams where new technology may be developed.
Act in accordance with company policies and best practices.
Working Conditions:
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some work after normal business hours or on weekends may be required to support business demands.
Required travel is estimated at 50%.
Work may take place at customer work sites with possible exposure to the outside environment.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, including a high level of effective presentation skills to individuals and groups.
Demonstrated focus on delivering optimal customer service directed at meeting customer needs and company goals and objectives is required.
Demonstrated success in managing small and large accounts required.
Strong organizational, time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, as well as other web-based applications such as customer relations management systems.
Ability to influence key external stakeholders in the sales process.
Must have a valid drivers' license and possess the ability to travel as needed by vehicle or aircraft.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree in business or a related field and 5 to 10 years of successful selling experience required. 3 to 6 years of successful selling experience in polyurethane or related markets would be preferred.
Direct experience with polyurethane systems in the case, binders, foam and/or adjacent markets.
