We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity.Your Day-to-Day:

As a Safety Analysis Engineer, your main responsibility will be to carry out calculations and conduct security analyses of our BWR reactors.

Perform calculations and analyze the response in a nuclear reactor based on different cases and scenarios

Conduct safety analysis based on recurring scenarios, as well as new legal requirements or incident reports

Write and review reports based on your findingsYou will work in project-based teams in close collaboration with project managers and other Safety Analysis Engineers. The work is mainly carried out on our internally developed programs BISON and POLCA-T.Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:A Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Physics,Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear preferred)that provides a strong technical and theoretical foundation.

3+ years related experience

Programming skills like Python andMATLAB

Requirements: Employer will accept Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field, followed by six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include working with: (1) engineering design and analysis of fluid systems (thermal hydraulics); (2) instrumentation and controls; (3) test design and data analysis; and (4) statistical analysis.
