If you are eager to take on a vital role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our office as we strive towards shared objectives, we encourage you to apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will deliver both administrative and analytical assistance to the Office of Chief Counsel (OCC) within the Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) by engaging in highly autonomous management-level legal support across various practice areas. Your responsibilities will include interpreting and applying commonwealth administrative programs and standards tailored to the specific requirements of the legal office, as well as analyzing, developing, and recommending new or revised administrative policies and operational procedures. This role encompasses support for the contracting and procurement team in project management and workflow tracking, administrative and project management activities for the Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority (PBDA), and involvement with the Financing Transactional team in closing and funding loan transactions. Furthermore, you will provide general administrative support to the entire OCC as needed.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of varied office management or staff work within a public or private legal office.Additional Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualification (not required):
