Online Account Opening Supervisor (Hybrid / Remote)

The Digital Channels Product group delivers online and mobile solutions for the Bank’s clients, including consumers, small businesses, and corporates.As the Online Account Opening Supervisor , you will be responsible for driving the vision, roadmap, and overall direction of the Online Account Onboarding solution set and related initiatives, including managing a team of product managers. As a collaborative leader, you will need understand and navigate through the impact of new products, enhancements, and impacts across multiple upstream and downstream teams and systems. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which includes other multiple initiatives as assigned by Bank Product leadership. This role is hybrid (Tue thru Thu on-site) for candidates in Kansas City metropolitan area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of Kansas City area but only within the US.How you’ll spend your time:

Identify, hire, develop and retain top talent.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners.

Cultivate strong relationships among working teams in IT, LOB, Risk and Marketing.

Work closely with cross functional partners and clients to understand internal and external client needs.

Drive solutions that are meaningful for clients and revenue growth.

Establish thought leadership and the strategic vision for the Online Account Opening Solutions Roadmap.

Develop business cases and other artifacts necessary to drive support for new and enhanced solutions.

Create clear product epics and features that are easily understood by business and technology partners and then validate delivery against those requirements, owning the work from start to finish.

Own and manage the product backlog with accountability for clearly expressing all backlog items to best achieve product strategy.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and stay abreast of the competition and emerging trends.

Manage key vendor relationships. This may include vendor selection (RFP or RFI), due diligence screening, contract negotiations, and leading and reporting on periodic performance and relationship assessments.

Manage multiple facets of product launches, including providing support and guidance regarding the identification of project goals, objectives, deliverables (both IT and non-IT), constraints and issues.

You have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 6 years of product management experience.

You have experience in Banking, FinTech, or a related industry with Digital Product Management.

You have demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and strong presentation development skills.

You have strong analytical skills (both financial and non-financial) to analyze market data and develop programs to market products, support the sales effort and develop positive profit and loss performance.

You have shown an understanding of industry, technology, marketing, and product trends.

You have demonstrated professional leadership qualities, including the ability to drive for results and to influence and effect change within an organization.

You have successfully mentored team members and effectively balance workload within the team to meet expected deadlines.

You have shown solution-oriented problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions occasionally based on limited precedents.

Bonus Points If:

You have previous experience in managing a significant project budget.

You have managed a team of professionals.

You have the ability to develop and analyze product architecture.

You have in-depth knowledge of Digital, Card Products, and Product Delivery.

You have knowledge of regulatory issues.

You have sound knowledge of banking or core deposit products, banking systems, and applicable technologies.
