Quality Technician

Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of tests on raw ingredients and dairy products to ensure they meet our quality standards. This position is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain experience in food manufacturing and quality assurance.Responsibilities

Perform raw ingredient testing, including microbiological, physical, chemical, and organoleptic tests as required.

Conduct tests for butterfat, total solids, standard plate counts, total coliform counts, homogenization efficiency, and titratable acidity on raw milk, cream, and recycled milk products.

Essential Skills

Experience in quality assurance or quality control.

Experience working in a laboratory environment.

At least 6 months of experience as a quality or lab technician within food manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of food safety protocols.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Work EnvironmentThis is a first shift position, starting at 4:30 am and ending upon completion of duties, usually around 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Expect to work 50-60 hours a week. The role is based on Cameron Street, within a lab environment. Our new facility in Middletown offers a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in food manufacturing and quality.
