Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to, training session leadership, classroom administration for Epic-led training sessions, pre-go-live session planning; end‐user engagement and localization sessions, and long‐term training coordination and leadership for all Epic modules.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties: Responsibilities for this role fall into three categories: classroom administration and planning, end‐user engagement and change management, and long‐term training coordination and leadership.Classroom administration and Planning
Coordinate training requirements for end-user system access as directed by Epic project and operational leadership.
Provide Epic with the appropriate data to import trainee information into the Epic Training Platform. Communicate training registration and completion data from Epic to operational and project leadership and define the proper escalation paths if either of those are off track.
Ensure all staff have appropriate Epic training tracks assigned and are registered for Epic classes. Secure training rooms, workstations, printers, projectors, screens, barcode scanners, and other equipment needed for virtual Epic-led training and any operationally led day-in-the-life activities that require a computer lab.
Track and communicate training milestones, policies, and decisions.
Coordinate initial Epic training for PSH Epic project team members, subject matter experts and PSH Epic Super Users.
Engage with Human Resources department, operational managers, and PSH Epic team members to develop and implement a role analysis process that will identify all users who will need Epic access and map them to job roles.
End User Engagement and Change Management
Using Epic-provided tools as a starting point, create and execute an overall vision for an end-user engagement program, including day-in-the-life activities for every role.
Communicate with PSH Epic Super Users throughout the project to ensure that they are staying engaged and are prepared to support end-user training and readiness.
Contribute to strong super user engagement before, during, and after go-live, as needed.
Work with PSH Super Users, Informatics, and others to ensure that productivity and proficiency metrics based on system usage are reviewed and staff are leveraging appropriate advanced training opportunities on an ongoing basis.
Develop processes for PSH Epic staff, providers, and managers to escalate questions and concerns about Epic class assignments and registration and working closely with Epic to address changes if needed.
Long-Term Training Coordination and Leadership
Outline and form additional educational and communication plans as needed.
Plan and execute a successful employee onboarding program after the PSH Epic system go-live.
Work with Epic prior to go-live to establish a process for Epic to receive ongoing personnel data to assign the appropriate training to new users and existing users transferring to new roles and departments.
Ensure new staff and transfers have appropriate Epic training tracks assigned after go-live.
Work with PSH IS analysts and super users to ensure end users are trained for key changes prior to upgrades.
Staff Supervisory
Supervision: Directly lead a team of trainers during implementations and ongoing support.
Human Relations: Responsible for candidate selection process, hiring onboarding, and offboarding of team members. Coach: Observe and coach work behaviors and performance deficiencies of assigned staff for corrective actions and document as required following HR policy.
Team Development: Ensure cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff following and embracing the organizational RITE values.
Evaluation: Responsible for the evaluation of employees' job performance and conformance to regulations and recommend appropriate personnel action.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years experience or 10 years of IT and/or education experience required in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a lead or supervisory role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Educational or IT leadership experience preferred
