Position Title: Sr. Manager, HR Process, Tech & Data Job Location: Hershey, PA Pay Level: 2A Note: This role will be posted internally until end of day on October 5, 2024. Job Summary: HR at Hershey has shifted from a high touch, HRBP enabled delivery model for annual processes, to a self-service model enabled through technology and streamlined, user-focused processes. The Sr. Mgr HR Process Tech & Data leads a cross-functional, cross-process team responsible for the execution of HR processes aligned with the strategic vision and establish a “Lean” culture within the global HR Service Delivery function. The incumbent will understand the HR business strategy, technology, processes, and data to driving efficiency and effectiveness across HR Processes. Role Responsibilities: HR Technology Platform & Data Management o Manage thorough system testing prior to all annual processes kicking off regardless of changes year over year as well as testing for every SuccessFactors release. This testing should include defined scenarios and a sample set of data that comfortably covers all criteria. o Assure system configuration aligns with HR strategies and described processes. o Assist in large-scale implementations of a multi-module, cloud-based HCM systems. o Manage SuccessFactors release notes to identify functionality to improve or enhance the existing solution with targets such as increased productivity, reduced dependence on manual data entry, enhanced end user experience, reduced cycle times, etc. o Maintain key relationships with key stakeholders on future platform and functionality requirements and keep them informed on tech or process changes when relevant. o Lead the governance of HR Systems including role based permissioning and SOX audits. o Ensure vendor compliance through effective governance and steering mechanisms. o Responsible for the management of transactions in Successfactors Employee Central, OrgVue and SAP HR for Organization Management (OM). o Timely and accurate data entry into Successfactors Employee Central, SAP HR and OrgVue and the primary user and champion of newer tools like OrgVue to support Org management work and ensure accuracy of data. o Provide data/system guidance & support for organizational restructuring.Manage internal and external reporting for information related to work events, position management, reorganizations. o Recommend process and procedure changes related to OM, partner with Information Services team on SuccessFactors to SAP data replication and utilize data and insights to improve OM. o Partner with HR stakeholders to Identify, lead and implement process changes to improve efficiency, cost and effectiveness of OM. HR Annual Process Execution o Partner with COEs & GPO to implement and execute HR processes, gaining a clear understanding of their intended outcomes and providing pragmatic, user focused consultation on process execution. o Lead team through all aspects of annual process execution, from planning to execution and after-action report, ensuring all aspects of the process are well documented. o Partner with communication lead to effectively communicate required actions and available resources to employees. o Identify risks, inconsistencies, and potentially confusing elements of the process by employee group; utilize systems and communications to minimize impact to user experience. o Establish KPIs for execution of each annual process. o Establish regular cadence, process, and format for informing HRLT of annual process execution efficacy. o Debrief after each annual process execution cycle to identify what worked well, what could have been done better and identify how to improve for the next cycle. Project Management o Assists with the implementation of technology and processes as aligned with the HR strategy. o Create global process documentation standards and work with functional experts to ensure that all HR processes are properly documented and updated as needed. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required: Proven ability to effectively lead teams through delegation, coaching, and feedback Knowledge of HR processes, e.g., compensation, employee data management, performance, succession, etc. Experience building business cases Experience with implementing and supporting cloud-based systems (SAP SuccessFactors & ServiceNow required) Proven ability to partner with internal customers Project management experience Demonstrated proficiency in application of HR systems with a focus on user experience to respond to customer requests, solve problems, process administrative transactions, and manage system governance Qualifications: Education: o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent education and/or experience. This role is critical in ensuring the sustainability and quality of our cocoa supply chain for the next 30 years. Responsibilities: 1. Cocoa Science Process Technology Development: Support the identification and development of new technologies to drive our Cocoa Science Initiatives to success.
