Job Title: Job Prep LaborerJob DescriptionPerforms a variety of duties to support the paint department. Responsibilities include keeping up with new painting, prepping, and blasting procedures, completing work according to directions or set work schedule, and maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe shop and equipment. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient service. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management, overall safety and soundness, and the company's compliance with all regulatory requirements. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested or according to an established schedule. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area within given time frames and within established policy.Skills
Familiar with HVLP/Pressure Pot spray systems
Basic paint and prep procedures
Ability to apply seam sealer and decals
Knowledge of air/hand tools
Basic understanding of blasting
Experience in roller touch up and brushing touch up
