Job Description

Chick-fil-A King of Prussia is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Director with the ability to provide strong leadership and operational oversight. The ultimate goal for this person is to work alongside the General Manager and Culinary Director to play a key role in leading the Kitchen Operations. This leader will spend the majority of their time working in the operation—serving alongside team members, ensuring food safety, providing a timely flow of food to front counter team, exceeding expectations with order accuracy, and overseeing kitchen inventory. After several years of learning and adding value to the business, this individual could have the opportunity to serve as a top leader in an even larger capacity, or, they could work toward becoming an Owner/Operator of their own Chick-fil-A franchise.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead, train, and develop members of the culinary team, including holding team members accountable to Chick-fil-A core values and productivity standards
  • Take ownership of leading and coaching 3-4 direct reports
  • Ensure the highest food quality and safety is top of mind with all team members
  • Establish order accuracy and timely flow of food to the front counter team
  • Equip team to meet production standards for restaurant and catering orders
  • Perform off-shift managerial tasks such as inventory, ordering, forecasting future food orders, and scheduling
  • Maintain vision alignment with the Operator and leadership team

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • 1-3+ years of leadership and management experience preferred
