Overview:

We are a leading mortgage servicing, SaaS-based, financial technology company that thrives on innovation and excellence. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our dynamic Technology department in the role of Senior Staff Tech Business Systems Analyst. This position offers a unique opportunity for candidates with a robust background in business systems analysis to play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our sophisticated systems.

Your day-to-day at Sagent:

Liaison and Collaboration:

Act as a key liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and understanding of business needs.

Systems Evaluation:

Evaluate new applications, identifying systems requirements and recommending appropriate systems alternatives.

Assess new IT developments and evolving business requirements, providing recommendations for enhancements to current systems.

Communication and Presentation:

Prepare comprehensive communications and deliver presentations on system enhancements and alternatives.

Effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.

Problem Solving and Analysis:

Solve technology information systems problems through in-depth analysis of requirements and existing systems.

Pseudo-design computer programs and recommend system controls and protocols.

Interface between Business and Technology:

Act as a pivotal interface or 'translator' between the business and technology functions of the company.

Understand overall business needs, create business cases, and define technical requirements.

Planning and Stakeholder Analysis:

Utilize planning, stakeholder analysis, risk assessment, organizational analysis, and interface analysis skills.

Apply writing skills and user experience knowledge to ensure the user interface aligns with project success.We would love to hear from you if you have:

Completion of four years of college in a relevant discipline +4 years of experience in a related fieldOR Completion of an advanced degree (master's or higher) in an applicable and relevant field +2 years of related experience, or experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Proven experience in business systems analysis.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Proficiency in evaluating new applications and identifying systems requirements.

Familiarity with IT developments and business requirements.

Ability to act as an effective liaison between IT and business units.

Planning, stakeholder analysis, risk assessment, organizational analysis, and interface analysis skills.

Knowledge of user experience principles.

Additional Skills/Technical Knowledge Preferred:

8+ years of experience at a mortgage servicer

Ability to demonstrate proficient or expert knowledge in one or more mortgage servicing domains including but not limited to: general Mortgage Servicing, Escrow, Cash, Delinquency, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, REO, Loss Analysis, Claims & Servicing Transfers.

Knowledge and understanding of a mortgage servicer's typical technology ecosystem including: servicing systems, default systems, workflow management, document repositories, ancillary systems, vendor integrations, data integrations, data warehouses and more.Perks!
