Description We are in search of a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions. Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Oversee inventory accounting processes across multiple manufacturing sites. Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records. Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper capitalization and depreciation. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and decision-making. Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
