The Gifting Company is seeking a highly skilled Packaging Machine Operator

Job Purpose
Set-up, break-down, clean, and assemble food packaging equipment while upholding food safety standards
Coordinates with team members to ensure efficient production schedules are met
Assures packaging equipment (bagger, foiler, flow-wrapper) is at proper settings for functional operation
Maintains accurate documentation of production quantities and quality verification
Communicates and addresses machine errors and mechanical issues promptly
Troubleshoot breakdowns and stoppages
Uphold safety procedures and policies to ensure a secure work environment
Follow all GMP and SQF requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' experience operating bagging machine and/or flow-wrapping equipment required
Ability to read and speak basic English
Ability to maintain accurate records and understand basic charts and paperwork requirements
Ability to apply deductive reasoning and to carry out simple verbal instructions
Knowledge of basic tools and ability to make simple mechanical adjustments, using basic math calculations and measurements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure proper organization of supplies and allergen tools
Coordinate with material handlers for raw material preparation
Participate in lot tracking systems and completion of daily checks
Work under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area
Schedule
1st Shift - Base Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
Additional Days and Hours required as production demands
Holidays and Peak Seasons: Willingness to work in various departments during peak seasons
