As a County Social Services Aide 1, you will be assigned families to assist with supervised visitation, parenting techniques, transportation to appointments, housekeeping skills, and budgeting under the supervision of a Casework Supervisor. You will be responsible for supervising children and demonstrating appropriate role modeling of parenting techniques, as well as providing helpful ideas and suggestions to caregivers during appointments and supervised visitation. You will function as a valuable asset to the casework team by working with the caseworkers to ensure that services are provided as listed in the family's service plan or via court orders. Within this role, it is essential to maintain appropriate documentation of services and activities that have been completed.The County Social Services Aide 1 is a valuable and respected member of the team at Lebanon County Children's Services. Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Graduation from high school; or
Any equivalent combination of training and experience.Other Requirements:
This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Lebanon County. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
