Act as the subject matter expert in high-speed data, electronics design, simulation, and validation activities.
Establish electrical design performance and functional requirements for new products.
Develop high-speed cable assemblies from conception to manufacturing.
Conduct component selection, schematic design, PCB layout, and product validation testing.
Create actionable recommendations based on design reviews and simulation results.
Make data-driven decisions regarding product functionality and areas for improvement.
Skills:
Proficiency in electronic design and analysis tools (e.g., Altium PCB, ADS, Ansys Designer, Ansys HFSS).
Experience with high-speed cable and cable assembly designs (e.g., twin-ax cables, direct attach copper cables).
Familiarity with high-speed test equipment (e.g., Digital Sampling Oscilloscope, Vector Network Analyzer).
Knowledge of signal conditioning techniques (e.g., equalization, amplification).
Experience in component selection, schematic capture, PCB design, fabrication, and assembly.
strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and electrical circuit behavior.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in high-speed hardware engineering.
