Part Time CPA Office Administrative Assistant

Busy sole proprietor CPA looking for someone to assist me part time from early January to mid-April with the following critical functions:

Calling/emailing clients and scheduling appointments for clients to drop off materials

Answering incoming calls

Scanning some documents and uploading files to secure online portal and emailing clients and following up on receipt of documents to and from clients

Filing

Assembling tax return copies, envelopes, mailing labels

Light cleaning of office

It is most important to be a detail-oriented person and have the ability to double check your own work so nothing is missed and client information is kept organized and confidential

Professional demeanor required for phone interactions with clients and brief in person interactions when clients drop off and pick up materials at the office.

Familiarity with accounting and/or taxes preferred but not required.

Require someone that is conscientious regarding confidential information, focused, and organized

Need someone dependable and responsible and committed for the 3 month period of employment.

Approx 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday. 9:30 to 2:30. Will start off a little bit less in January/early February and grow to a little bit more from mid-Feb through mid-April, but average will be 5 hours per day for the 3 months.

Low key comfortable office in Ardmore (1 flight of stairs; older building no elevator)

Computer knowledge required (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe (working with PDFs))

Compensation: $25 per hour
