We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A) to join our interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals.
Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
Full-Time Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Part-Time Hours: Mondays and Fridays, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
Work under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Provide speech and language therapy services as outlined in students' treatment plans.
Assist in developing and implementing therapy activities and materials.
Document client progress and maintain accurate records through data collection systems.
Communicate effectively and professionally with SLPs, families, and other team members.
Support children with a variety of speech and language disorders, ensuring their therapy goals are met.
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
State certification/licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A).
Experience working with children with special needs (preferred).
Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills.
Basic knowledge of technology (PC, Mac, iPad, or other tablets). Training provided.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must pass PA state and FBI background checks, as well as PA child abuse clearance.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, move, and engage with children for extended periods.
Capability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Frequent movement between sitting, standing, and kneeling positions.
Clear vision and hand-eye coordination to observe children and maintain safety.
Compensation
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Compensation varies based on position type (full-time or part-time), educational background, and hands-on experience in pediatric speech therapy.
