Description In this Accounts Payable Manager position, you will be respected for the value you bring to the company. With an immediate opening, a dynamic company is looking to hire a dedicated Accounts Payable Manager who will drive for results. The Accounts Payable Manager will lead daily operations, including preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. In this role, you need to have a strong background in full cycle accounts payable, internal controls, and staff oversight as well as have experience working with 1099s. Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, this long-term contract employment opportunity is a great chance to work for a company that rewards results-oriented employees.How you will make an impact· Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes· Process AP invoices (3-way match) and code to proper general ledger account and department· Obtain approvals for invoice payment where required from department managers· Maintain worksheets for month-end accruals, and other recurring payments· Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlines· Maintain vehicle registrations and regulatory reporting for company owned vehicles· Manage/maintain reporting and renewal for various regulatory licenses· Manage W-9’s and Form 1099 reportingRequirements The ideal Accounts Payable Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and accounting experience.Other requirements for the Accounts Payable Manager position include and are not limited to:5+ years' accounting experience is preferred.

Analytical, resourceful, takes initiative and ability to work independently.

Technology minded, system implementation and project management experience a plus.

Excellent organization skills, written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills required.
