Description Robert Half is seeking a driven Accounts Receivable Analyst who possesses strong problem-solving abilities for our dynamic client located in the Greater Philadelphia area. The ideal Accounts Receivable Analyst candidate is a quick learner, capable of working independently and with great attention to detail in a fast-paced AR environment. Responsibilities include managing collections on outstanding invoices, resolving payment issues for assigned customer accounts, and promptly reviewing customer deductions to assess their validity.Responsibilities:
Accurately manage and process customer credit applications
Maintain up-to-date customer credit records to ensure accurate tracking
Take charge of resolving customer inquiries and issues related to their accounts
Review and validate customer deductions as part of the accounts receivable process
Ensure the accounts receivable assigned are kept in order and discrepancies are reconciled
Prioritize and handle multiple tasks to keep up with the fast-paced work environment
Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and higher levels of management
Requirements
The ideal Accounts Receivable Analyst will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.Other requirements for the Accounts Receivable Analyst role include and are not limited to:
5+ years’ accounts receivable experience,
Food manufacturer or distributor preferred.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Excellent communication skills, both written (email) and verbal (telephone).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with especially strong Excel skills.
Extremely detail oriented, with strong organizational skills.
