Perform laboratory analysis following documented procedures.
This includes performing PCR (polymerase chain reaction) based molecular assays, possessing basic knowledge of molecular biology and molecular technologies, and executing all tasks with attention to details.
Verify and report laboratory findings in a timely and accurate fashion.
Follow all established regulations related to specimen processing, QC, lab safety, etc.MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Associate#39;s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required
Bachelorrsquo;s Degree in medical technology, related life science, or applied science field.
1 year experience and/or training in a laboratory setting
ASCP certification preferred.
