You Are:The Edge Delivery Lead is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of delivering Edge, Distributed Cloud, and on-premise solutions and programs driving digital transformation. You will lead teams through solution design, execution, and deployment, ensuring that each project meets the client’s technical, business, and operational requirements. Your role will combine technical expertise and project management skills to oversee delivery for large-scale Edge computing and digital transformation initiatives, while also leveraging the latest in cloud and Edge technologies to ensure efficiency and success. As an Edge Delivery Lead, you will work closely with clients to understand their strategic priorities, deployment models, and technical constraints. With this knowledge, you will guide cloud architects, engineers, and developers to design and implement tailored Edge solutions, using cloud platforms and technologies best suited to each client’s needs. Additionally, you will manage the staffing of the project, ensuring that the appropriate resources are in place to deliver high-quality solutions. The Work: Manage teams to deliver Edge solutions across a wide range of industries by:

Leading and actively participating in designing, building, and testing infrastructure for Edge, Distributed Cloud, and IoT-focused solutions that reduce cloud costs and enable near-real-time processing.

Developing strategies and solutions for enterprise infrastructure operations, with a focus on leveraging Edge computing to optimize cloud usage and enhance processing efficiency at the edge of the network.

Ensuring detailed documentation for all components of Edge and distributed infrastructure solutions, focusing on long-term maintainability and scalability.

Applying Accenture methodologies, reusable assets, and your expertise to consistently deliver high-quality, scalable Edge solutions.

Delivering regular status reports, both written and oral, to project leadership and clients, ensuring transparency on the progress and risks involved.

Keeping up with emerging Edge computing, IoT, IIoT, and distributed cloud trends, assessing their potential benefits for client environments.

Working with clients to optimize existing systems and processes, while designing alternative solutions for moderately complex problems in Edge and distributed computing architectures.

Aligning project objectives with the strategic direction set by senior management, ensuring that each delivery is on target to achieve broader business goals.

You will be responsible for assembling a high-performing team, managing project delivery timelines, and ensuring the success of defined Edge and IoT solutions in production environments.

Travel may be required, ranging from 25% to 100%, based on business needs and client engagements.

Here’s what you need

Minimum 10+ years' experience leading technical teams in the successful delivery of cloud infrastructure and distributed system projects,

Proven experience in delivering cloud deployment, cloud migration, hybrid-cloud, or IoT projects for large enterprises, including designing distributed architectures.

Expertise in cloud computing technologies, including deep knowledge of the current trends in Edge computing, distributed cloud, and cloud-native application development.

Experience with DevOps and Agile engineering practices, ensuring efficient and scalable delivery of Edge solutions.

Strong background in Technology or Application Architecture projects and deliverables, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Preferred Skills:

Experience with multiple cloud platforms and their Edge and IoT offerings, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and a deep understanding of how these platforms support Edge deployments.

Hands-on experience deploying systems into production environments, particularly distributed cloud or Edge environments that require high scalability and low-latency processing.

Proven ability to manage large-scale, enterprise-level application architectures, ensuring robust and scalable Edge deployments.

Demonstrated success leading teams in a collaborative, fast-paced, and client-oriented environment, with the ability to work creatively and analytically to solve complex problems.

Expert-level certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud in architect or specialization tracks, or equivalent certifications or similar experience.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical teams and client leadership.

Experience with agile delivery methodologies and a proven ability to deliver complex Edge solutions in an iterative, fast-paced environment.

Experience working in large consulting firms, engineering firms, or cloud providers, with a focus on digital transformation and large-scale infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of Edge computing, IoT, fog-computing, and distributed application architectures, particularly in leveraging these technologies to reduce cloud dependency and optimize costs.
