You will be actively working on all aspects of delivering our products and helping to improve the processes we use to deliver those products along the way. As an engineer on the team, you will be faced with a diverse set of challenges on a day-to-day basis, providing input and technical direction, all with the support of your team.Core Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Owners, Stakeholders, and Engineers to define technical solutions and improve customer experience.
Design new web applications, back-end services, and system architectures to enable rapid delivery of core features.
Participate in team Agile development process, helping to drive continual improvements to overall delivery.
Provide ownership for all aspects of DevOps platform from end-to-end, including development, operations, and quality.
Participate in weekly on-call rotation to help resolve production issues and assist customers.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Engineering or Computer Science
Generally requires 2-5 years related experience
Good understanding of building highly available, scalable systems using Java and related frameworks
Experience building front-end user interfaces in JavaScript using at least one modern framework
Understanding of Linux command-line tools and at least one scripting language
Basic understanding of Agile software development methodologies and some experience as a member of a Scrum team
Ability to communicate ideas and concepts to both team members and leadership.
