Start hereThe Master Data Specialist’s key responsibility is to analyze and interpret information gathered from multiple documents that are funneled to them from Project Management teams across the network (US, EU, and APAC) to ensure accuracy and data integrity along with efficiency for the creation of an item number within a strict and fast timeline.The role of a Master Data Specialist is critical to the end user which are our patients. It directly affects patients risk and safety if data is inaccurate or not generated on time. Quality, on-time delivery, and ability to interpret minute details across multiple documents are a must to be successful in this role.The Role

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the network (US, EU, and APAC) to gather information required for accurate item master set-up

Analyze plans for item use and interpret documentation to determine correct item setup

Create item master records in the JDE system

Review and approve item master records entered by peers

Perform identified revisions to item masters as required

Run exception reports and initiate data clean-up opportunities

Create Client and Study codes in Clinicopia

Write and Process Change Controls in TrackWise

Interact with Pre-production, Quality Assurance, Label Control, Packaging Engineering, Project Management, and Pre-Distribution personnel to communicate item setup requirements and gather appropriate information for proper item setup

Support project timelines by developing and continually improving the item master process

Understand the multiple facets of a clinical packaging environment, how each department functions within itself and with other departments including Master Data, and how each department uses the data that the Master Data Specialists produce

Understand and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a GMP setting

The Candidate

Associate’s Degree required with at least 3 years of relevant experience within clinical supply/packaging industry. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Must have the ability to work and seek resolution independently, think critically, be detail-oriented and organized, with an emphasis on quality, and communicate effectively and efficiently.

Must be computer literate with experience using spreadsheets and word processing programs

Experience with ERP/SAP systems such as JDE is a plus but not required

Working knowledge of Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries is required
