Jaspers backyard is seeking a FULL TIME AM LINE COOK
The applicant must know the ins and out of the kitchen and how to cook in a fast paced environment.
If you do not currently or have not consistently worked in a fast paced from scratch kitchen DO NOT APPLY.
the position is grill station on a 2 person line. applicant must know how to cook protein to temp.
the shift is 8 am-4pm Tuesday through Saturday (non negotiable) you must have transportation, the train or bus is not dependable.
lunch starts at 11:30 so there are 3.5 hrs of prep time for the restaurant before service to ensure everything is set and ready to go, after lunch service we clean, reset, and re stock the line for the pm staff.
we need someone that is confident, smart, consistent, reliable, can follow a prep list, attention to detail, and has good time management. knowing some Spanish is a plus.
