About Us
DuJour is an upscale café and catering company specializing in the Center City corporate market. We provide full service breakfast and lunch menus as well as cater large and small off premise catering events. Our emphasis is on fresh quality foods, beautiful presentation, on time delivery and personal service. 75% of our catering events range from 10 people to 50, are typically “dropped off” at corporate offices and are packaged in disposable containers and trays. The remaining 10% represent events in which we furnish serving equipment and provide full wait staff, bartenders and chefs.
Qualifications
We are looking for a Professional Catering Team Member for Part Time employment (25 - 30 hrs per week) who can help us deliver, set up, serve food and maintain our center city clients. Ideally, candidates will have at least 5 years of catering or banquet service experience, either front of the house or back. Applicants shall also have the ability to heat and serve food and present it on trays and buffets. This person must also be organized and able to read and understand detailed event menu and timelines. It is mandatory that our staff is always neatly dressed and groomed to impart a professional appearance.
Required Skills:
Valid driver’s license
ability to deliver catered food to Center City buildings
ability to drive a small minivan or delivery van
Set up, serve and maintain both hot and cold buffets
Interact with high level professional clients in an office environment
Computer skills: word, excel, proficiency with the Internet
Hours
We begin deliveries as early as 9:00am and stop deliveries at 4:00pm all applicants must Promptness is expected. The current position ranges from 25 to 30 hours per week.
