Seeking Pizza Manager for our brewery/wood-fired pizza business
We are seeking a Pizza Manager to supervise our small, family-owned operation.
The ideal candidate has experience making wood-fired pizza and has a passion for high-quality pizza that not only tastes good, but looks good too. Responsibilities include making the dough and sauce, making pizzas, managing and ordering inventory/supplies, developing pizza recipes, sourcing ingredients, managing expenses, teaching and training, and managing a team of approximately 10 people.
We use local and organic ingredients whenever possible and introduce new pizzas to the menu seasonally or for special events and we like to think outside the box and use unique ingredients.
In addition, you are responsible for the cleanliness of the space and must keep the kitchen and refrigeration space clean and tidy. There will be daily interactions and weekly meetings with the owners to discuss operations.
We are looking for someone with open availability including nights and weekends and a flexible schedule. We are seeking someone who loves food and cooking, takes initiative, and also takes direction and feedback well.
