Front Desk Reception Evening Shift

Busy historical Bed & Breakfast, operating since 1985, with a following of repeat clientele, is offering a key front desk opportunity 4 days per week, Thursday's, Friday's, Saturday's & Sunday's, 2PM-9PM with flexibility.

We are seeking a candidate who is reliable, responsible, professional, and excels in communication and guest services for this key position. Someone who is approachable, resilient, and understands the demands of the hospitality industry with a positive attitude, a self-starter and demonstrated work ethic. Computer & internet skills (bonus if you're familiar with Innkeeper's Advantage reservation software, however we will provide training). Position hours are 2pm - 9pm (with flexibility).

Preferable someone who lives close proximity to Rittenhouse Square and able to commute without any issues.

Responsibilities

The desired candidate represents the hotel to the guest throughout all the stages of the guests stay & upholds the La Reserve B&B culture at all times (initial booking contact to departure)

Communicates effectively, promptly, appropriately, and systematically with management

Manage emails, online and phone reservations, maintains updated timely records of bookings and payments

Register guests collecting all necessary information (contact details, exact dates of stay & arrival times)

Welcomes guests upon their arrival, helps orient them with our property, & surrounding area

Provides information about our B&B, our history & uniqueness and knowledge of area attractions, venues & locality

Responds to guest's request for service in a timely and professional manner

Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean & tidy prior to check-in

Perform room checks prior to guest arrivals

Able to lift and carry luggage (50lbs) to assist guests to their rooms as need

Skills:

Work experience as a Bed & Breakfast and or Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role preferred

Experience with hotel reservations software, Innkeeper's Advantage a plus!

Provides excellent customer care service prior experience preferred

Interacting with guests in a professional & helpful manner

Excellent computer, communication , and organizational skills

Ability to maintain a professional manner under stress is a must

Works effectively and proactively as part of a team
