Bart’s Bagels is a hybrid - bagel bake house, smoked fish joint and neighborhood coffee shop that elevates the ordinary and raises the bar for Jewish comfort food in Philadelphia. We are seeking an awesome, reliable and hardworking individual to join our front of house team at our new location in Italian Market!
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a member of our front of house team, you will be the face of Bart’s Bagels. You will be responsible for taking and preparing orders in a friendly manner along with other duties as assigned.
This is a customer facing role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills.
You will need to be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Greet customers
- Take and prepare orders
- Manage our Online Order Workflow
- Operate the Point-of-Sale for all transaction types
- Accurately record customer orders
- Handle cash and credit transactions
- Expo for all Orders
- Coffee service (hot coffee and cold brew)
- Stock beverages
- Take weekly inventory
- Prep work
- Other tasks assigned by management
This position is part time (2-3 days per week) from 6:30AM-2:30PM. Pay starts at $12/hr plus tips, which average an additional $6-8/hr. Pay is weekly.
