We are looking for an "Experienced" Professional Line/Prep Cook for a take out restaurant located in West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, duties will include but not limited to: setting up a line/stations, prepping food to be put out on the line, cutting/chopping vegetables, meats etc., use of Deep Fryers, setting oven temps, warmers etc., Occasionally providing customer service with greeting customers, taking food orders, preparing food platters, keeping the line clean and presentable.
"DEPENDABILITY" is a MUST, frequent Call outs will Absolutely NOT be tolerated Person must be capable of working Independently, with little to no supervision and able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
HOURS of operation are: Thursday thru Sunday 1pm till 8:00pm, Wednesday is Prep day and the hours are typically 2pm to 6pm, but are otherwise flexible. Must be comfortable handling and lifting heavy food trays, cooking pots, etc,. Looking for someone Able to start "ASAP" Starting pay is $17 an hour dependent on experience and skill set, pay is BI WEEKLY.
