SHORT ORDER COOK
compensation: $18/hr - Paid weekly

Locust Rendezvous, a bar and grill in Center City Rittenhouse West area of Philadelphia, seeks a motivated, hard-working individual for a Short Order Grill Cook. Our menu consists of home style meals, comfort food, homemade soups and typical American bar food. Positive attitude, ability to multitask are all a must. Applicant Requirements:
- 2+ years kitchen cooking experience
- Need to be able to read tickets and follow through to plating according to instruction
- Be able to prepare, make and plate food consistent to how it's been done the past 35 years
- Full knowledge of fryer, flat top grill
- Ability to make soup and gravy from scratch
- Able to function in a high pressure, high volume kitchen
- Must be able to follow recipes and prepare
- Team player
- Current Serve Safe Certificate a plus
