The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for working to ensure a safe, functional, comfortable environment to maintain all aspects of our Malvern facility. The Facilities Coordinator will need to perform routine and preventative maintenance of all company equipment, upgrades, and modification as needed. This person in this position needs to be comfortable with multi-tasking and would ensure seamless communication with other departments and outside vendors.
To be successful in this role you should have:
High school diploma and/or GED
2-5 years of facilities-related work experience
OSHA regulation knowledge
Detail orientated to produce accurate work while making timely and sound decisions
Must be able to assist Facilities Manager with all repairs, installation, renovations and upgrades to buildings i.e. perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, simple electrical and plumbing.
Must be mechanically inclined to handle the following types of equipment: pallet jack, vacuum seal chamber, scales, carding/blistering machines, cryogenic nitrogen chambers, large-scale refrigerators/freezers, time/ temperature-dependent equipment
Assist Facilities Manager with maintenance requests
Your role at Clinigen:
Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests
Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program"
Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned
Meet with and escort facilities vendors through the facility to address issues
Complete required paperwork in a timely manner and maintains accurate records, documentation, and filing of documents related to facilities items
Responsible for communicating operational and personal concerns as well as opportunities for improvement to department leaders
Work directly with technical suppliers, manufacturing groups, vendors, consultants, and outside resources
Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing/packaging operations or principles and practices involved in clinical trials
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers at all levels of the organization
Excellent time management skills for working within a fast paced, ever-changing environment
Self-motivated learner to critically evaluate situations and adapt quickly in making timely and independent decisions
Confidentiality of all clients’ proprietary and pharmaceutical related information is essential
Be part of the on-call rotation
We're excited about you if you have:
Experience in CADD (the ability to read and understand floorplans)
Experience in a cGMP environment
Knowledge of validation and calibration methodology
Knowledge and functional understanding of temperature monitoring, security, and fire prevention systems, etc.
Experience with MSDS documentation
