This is an exciting opportunityfor someone whothrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You willcontributeto the department by providing support by performing all accounts payable functions, including, but not limited to data entry, research and payment of supplier invoices, and supplier checks returned, and researching supplier statements.Your core responsibilities will include:Researching and resolving accounts payable issues with campus and external representatives of the University, including maintaining the Oracle Holds report for the associated range of suppliers.Answering the telephone and responding to customer requests via email and/or telephone, validating supplier information to be added to the Oracle supplier table, and backing up others within the department when needed.Handle other general accounts payable responsibilities as assigned.Must be available to complete all assigned tasks outside of normal working hours., as requested.During month-end and fiscal year-end closes, must make manager aware if you will not be available outside of working hours.Overtime may be required during peak processing times, e.g., monthly AP closing, fiscal year end closing, etc.Flexibility, excellence, and passion are vital qualities within the Finance Division.
