Description Hybrid Accounts Payable Clerk/3 days a week onsite:We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Wholesale Distribution - Dur Goods industry based in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania. As part of the team, your primary role will entail AP data entry during a crucial implementation phase. You will be instrumental in entering invoice details into our automated system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: Review and process customer invoices into our automated system. Correct any discrepancies where the system was not able to populate invoice details accurately. Apply your experience with numbers-driven data entry to maintain the integrity of our accounting data. Utilize your proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data effectively. Leverage your skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Coding Invoices to ensure smooth operations. Respond to inquiries related to invoice details and resolve them promptly. Work collaboratively with the rest of the A/P team to ensure a smooth transition during the software learning phase.Requirements Possess a solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) Proficiency in Coding Invoices Demonstrated ability in Data Entry Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience in the Wholesale Distribution - Dur Goods industry preferred Understanding of basic accounting principles Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a team environment and independently when needed Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills High level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
