Description Job Title: Senior Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob Location: Strip District area of Pittsburgh (Position will be onsite. Free Parking is provided, and the office location is bus accessible)Work Schedule: 40 Hours per Week, Monday - Friday, Normal Business Hours (for example 8am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5pm)Job Summary:We are in need for a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage our client's financial transactions related to our billable services. Focusing mainly on ensuring that funds are received in a timely manner and accurately recorded, the individual would be responsible for overseeing the organization's accounts receivables. The daily tasks include processing and reconciling financial transactions, maintaining efficient and accurate financial records, and providing necessary accounting support. Primary duties will include billing, posting payments, reviewing aging reports and handling collections efforts.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Financial Tasks:

Data entry of invoices and related details.

Assign revenues to relevant accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices, receipts, and reports.

Keep accounting ledgers updated by verifying and recording transactions.

Identify and resolve inconsistencies in invoices, payments and fix related documentation for transaction processing.

Guarantee all financial transactions conform to established policies and procedures.

Keep financial records precise, up-to-date, and organized.

Accounting Support:

Supervise accounts to ensure payments and receipts are made on time.

Appraise and overview account activity documentation carefully.

Handle correspondence with customers and resolves their queries related to financial matters.

Maintain efficiently organized financial records, including documenting filing.

Generate necessary reports upon request.

Manage customers and cost center files strictly adhering to the company policies and standards.

Job Requirements:Interested candidates are requested to have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent field, however individuals with at least 3 years of relevant AR experience will be considered. Preferred applicants should have prior knowledge in accounts receivable processes (including billing, credit memos, collections, payment posting, and aging reports), possess an eye for detail, have excellent analytical skills and have a deep understanding of financial laws and procedures. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and strong communication skills are also required.
