This position provides an exciting way for an experienced, high-aptitude employee to work with an accomplished team and make immediate contributions! You will learn how to navigate complex business concerns and translate them into processes and algorithms. These solutions will be presented to fellow data scientists, analysts, and business partners. There will be a continuous challenge to develop new capabilities and improve existing ones on a wide variety of projects. The Data Scientist will choose the approach taken.What will you do?

Quickly grasp the sophisticated business priorities and marketing objectives to translate them into algorithms and communicate the results to collaborators with varying degrees of technical background

Collaborate with peers in Marketing, Portfolio Management, and Sales to identify key business needs and areas of opportunities

Proactively identify and evaluate growth opportunities to be translated as recommendations for our Commercial and Marketing teams to drive revenue

Apply advanced data algorithms to design and optimize models that drive increased engagement and revenue on Digital Marketing channels.

Develop strategies and requirements to make use of artificial intelligence and automation to enhance business decisions.

Effectively respond to requests for ad hoc analyses.

Develop visualizations and key performance indexes to guide decisions and track effectiveness

How will you get here?Education

Bachelor's Degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, statistics, applied math or related field required; Master's Degree preferred

Experience

Proven understanding of SQL Server, Databricks, Spark, and/or Oracle

Proficiency in Python (or PySpark) and SQL

Business analytics knowledge required; pricing or marketing analytics a plus

Exposure to a variety of operating systems and computing platforms including AWS/cloud computing a plud

Experience operating in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities a plus

Experience with key digital marketing technologies such as marketing automation, CRM, analytics packages, and predictive lead scoring a plus

Understanding of life science industry and distribution a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Extracting data from multiple sources, cleaning and validating for duplicates and other anomalies

Employing math and statistics into algorithms to generate real-time predictive systems

Aligning and adapt business problems to the most efficient machine learning algorithm

Writing code from scratch to create solutions that don’t align with any available turnkey package

Selecting and explaining the best analytical technique for the problem

Understanding how to create a computationally efficient solution

Accurately managing data coming from multiple domestic and international sources

Proactively creating solutions as opportunities are identified

Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to complete responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner

Must embrace team spirit and have strong interpersonal skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to communicate across business areas

Initiative-taking with bias for action.
