The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, the Department of Neurology, is currently accepting applications for full-time doctoral-level faculty researchers. A Ph.D., MD, or DO in Sciences or Medicine is required. Academic rank and compensation package will be commensurate with experience. This research faculty position will be in support of ongoing and year-long research projects in the stroke area. These projects will be mentored by Dr. Raul Nogueira and other highly trained specialists at the University of Pittsburgh. This non-tenure stream position will be at the research instructor level, depending on qualifications. Candidate must have academic credentials appropriate for faculty appointment at the University of Pittsburgh. Hiring is contingent upon eligibility to work in the United States.
