The University of Pittsburghs Ophthalmology Department is hiring a visiting scholar for the appointment stream for ophthalmic research purposes. The scholar will be performing several tasks, including:

be in charge of visual electrophysiological recordings from rodents

specifically performing ERGs and VEPs

perform histological work, including preparation of slides and staining, such as H&E and IHC

Participate in animal training experiments and surgeries, specifically in CNS electrode array implantations.
