As a Mechanic Supervisor, you will do a wide variety of jobs to assist the mechanics and ensure work is done safely and efficiently. You will plan, assign, prioritize, and evaluate work done by subordinates while also getting to interview and select employees which will help ensure the dynamic of the team stays a priority.Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and direct supervision of various analytical, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for construction equipment and hand tools powered by gasoline or diesel engines. This includes systems such as hydraulic, electrical, heating and cooling, manual and automatic transmissions, exhaust, and drive train systems. You will also supervise state vehicle inspections, assign work to mechanics, review work orders, and report any equipment accidents or damage promptly.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Four years of journey level mechanical experience in the diagnosis and repair of automobiles, heavy trucks, or construction equipment; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
This position requires possession of a Pennsylvania Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake Restriction (L) removed.
This position requires possession of an active Class 4 or Class 7 Pennsylvania Inspection Mechanic Certification.
This position requires a valid Tank (N) Vehicle endorsement.
This position requires one year of experience or training in the repair or maintenance of diesel engines.Additional Requirement:
