The Center for Governance and Markets CGM is now accepting applications for a Research Associate for a 9-month appointment through July 31, 2025. The Research Associate will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the Center, which explores how governance institutions and markets contribute to human well-being, prosperity, and security both in the U.S. and internationally. CGM achieves this mission through cutting-edge research, policy dialogue, and public engagement.We seek a research associate from any relevant social science discipline e.g., economics, political science, sociology, public policy, public administration, anthropology, etc. who can contribute to our core research areas, including governance and political institutions, economic institutions, and property rights, and the governance of emerging technologies.CGM is looking for candidates with a strong research background in their discipline and the ability to develop research projects aligned with CGM's initiatives. Research fellows will conduct independent research, participate in CGM's activities, and are expected to actively engage with policy communities and local communities where we operate.Candidates must have received their PhD from any relevant social science discipline e.g., economics, political science, sociology, public policy, public administration, anthropology, etc. Salary is competitive, and the benefits package includes health, vision, and dental coverage, with options for spouses, domestic partners, and dependents.
