Sales Effectiveness Manager

Job OverviewKeurig Dr. Pepper is looking for a hands-on experienced Manager, Sales Effectiveness (aka Field Sales Trainer). This position will analyze training needs, create and update curriculum for both classroom and non-classroom learning programs, deliver training programs in a variety of mediums, formulate standardized training programs and development plans, and ensure effective and optimized operations of the Sales Effectiveness Team supporting Direct Store Delivery (DSD). Direct Store Delivery is a part of our KDP organization that primarily focuses on the cold side of our business i.e., carbonated soft drinks, waters, energy drinks, etc. This position will specifically focus on one of our three DSD Business Units - the North Business Unit. The geography that this role covers is approximately one third of the United States. This individual will have impact on everyone from our Business Unit General Manager to our Merchandisers and everyone in-between. Key Responsibilities:

Creating, executing and evaluating learning initiatives across a multitude of topics, including however not limited to Digital Transformation and Journey to Great initiatives.

Continuous optimization of sales business processes across the Business Unit.

Sharing best practices across your Business Unit as well as across the country.

Utilizing KDP technology to enhance all / any learning experiences / initiatives.

Ability to easily keep track of all learning that has occurred within your Business Unit via excel and other business communication technology tools.

Ability to persuade and influence all stakeholders across the Business Unit.

Individual will have to be able to choose to deal with conflict, ambiguity and be a highly motivated self-starter.

Working side-by-side in stores with our salespeople, noting early start / late finish times plus the need to merchandise and help sell our brands on shelf and in cold coolers.

Budget Management – primarily via our Concur expense reporting system.

Total Rewards

Salary Range: $91,300-$132,000

Actual placement within the salary range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements

Bachelors in a related field and minimum 5 years of related experience in Business, Economics, Education or Masters in a related field and minimum 3 years of related experience in sales or sales training

Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and curriculum development techniques and best practices is preferred

Experience in developing project plans for training development and implementation

Ability to take initiative; be proactive without waiting for direction; strong sense of personal accountability, highly self-motivated

Ability to present ideas clearly and execute against goals / targets

Experience in a CPG Direct Store Delivery (DSD) organization is preferred as well as having held both Corporate (Head Office) and Field Sales positions

Expertise in motivating and coaching individuals and influencing across a complex network

Skill in assessing training needs through surveys, interviews, and focus groups

Skill in facilitation, public speaking, and moderating small and large groups

Skill in aligning strategic and operational needs with training programs and tools

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Willing and able to travel up to 60% of the time
