Senior Product Manager - RFID

As a Senior Product Manager - RFID here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and driving the development and growth of our RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) product portfolio. You will play a crucial role in defining the product strategy, identifying market opportunities, and driving product innovation to meet customer needs. With your expertise in RFID technology and strong business acumen, you will contribute to the success of our business and help shape the future of the industry.You will report directly to our Sr. Director of Product and you'll work out of one of our main offices on a hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will:

Develop and execute the product roadmap for our RFID solutions, including hardware, software, and services

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and customer needs

Drive product innovation and differentiation to maintain a competitive edge

Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and drive product adoption

Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings

Key Responsibilities

· Drive Honeywell’s strategy and roadmap for RFID in our target verticals, retail, Warehouse/DC and Transportation and Logistics, identifying the core solution set and key requirements

· For products that are directly managed by the candidate, drive all aspects of the product life cycle from concept to end-of-Life

· Where products are managed by others, use technology and market expertise to provide leadership to maintain a cohesive and effective portfolio

· Develop and execute plans addressing product, pricing, channel, messaging and competitive positioning; working closely with regional marketing teams on launch and promotion

· Define and gain executive approval for roadmaps, strategies, policies and plans

· Work with Sales and Corporate Communications to convert and promote the offerings

· Work with planning, regional marketing and factory teams to ensures product availability while minimizing inventory costs

You Must Have:

· 6+ years of experience as a product manager of a technology offering for retail, warehouse/DC (WHDC) and/or transportation and logistics (T&L)

· Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally

· Experience managing UHF-passive RFID hardware and/or software

We Value:

· Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, MBA preferred

· Domain knowledge in retail, warehouse/DC (WHDC) and/or transportation and logistics (T&L)

· Excellent communication and leadership skills

Experience with 2-tier distribution channels
