These types of product marketing experiences and successes - ideally within enterprise B2B software organizations in financial services, AML, risk, compliance, fintech or related industries, will help position you to meet these challenges and achieve success!How will I make an impact?You will blend your deep analytic skills and understanding of relevant technologies that leverage data analytics, machine learning, and regulatory frameworks to detect and prevent financial crime to create strategic marketing programs that accelerate revenue growth. Day-to-day this includes:Market Research

Perform competitive and market research to help prepare industry and competitor battle cards and advise company leadership (particularly Sales) on optimal ways to prepare and address trends and competitive situations and trends

Conduct extensive analysis of external/ regulatory environment and fines to identify useful insights of how our products serve the market and customer needs

Maintaining in-depth understanding of our customer segments and buyer personas to effectively communicate value propositions and differentiators

Utilize your research and understanding of the competitive environment to advise product management and engineering about desired / needed new features, functions, and overall product roadmap

Data Analysis

Perform ongoing revenue analysis to identify trends to optimize our go-to-market strategies

Analyze and determine the reasons that deals are won and lost; develop recommendations for improvements

Go-to-market Strategies and Tactics

Interact with analysts, clients, and internal stakeholders to research and validate target messaging and positioning including Sales talk-tracks, customer presentations, case studies, and other collateral for new and existing products

Debrief regularly with Sales and Account Management to understand client needs, getting feedback on the effectiveness of our messaging, and continuously identifying how to improve it

Coordinate with Marketing Communications and Demand Generation teams on ideas for stimulating the market and generating demand that drives business and revenue

Translate the benefits of our product features into Unique Selling Points (USP) in collaboration with other departments including sales, marketing and account management

Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to orchestrate launches of new products and features into the market

Support Sales with new business development activities which could include, but not be limited to analysis of prospect’s industry trends, identification of quality leads and target accounts, and tasks related to RFP’s.

What do I need to have to make an impact?

We find that having at least 1 to 3 years of Product Marketing or Product Marketing Management experience within small to midsized B2B software technology companies will give you the right foundational skills. Adding to that you'll have:

Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skill and experience in conducting market research and deriving useful insights from your analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data

Takes a process-oriented approach to execution and measuring success

Proven track record of quickly understanding new markets, industries, products and customer audiences

Ability to create tangible marketing deliverables

High adaptability, strong sense of ownership, and eager curiosity in navigating a rapidly changing environment

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written with strength in crafting and articulating compelling stories for B2B technology products

Ability to collaborate inclusively and cross-functionally and work well with diverse perspectives and multiple stakeholders to drive company success

Good working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other related productivity tools.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

It’s a plus if you bring

Experience within the financial service such as AML, risk / compliance, KYC, FinTech or RegTech space

An MBA with a concentration in Marketing or Business Strategy
