Cinderlands Beer Company is looking for a closing sous chef to help run our Warehouse location. Weekly hours 45 - 55. You will have two days off a week.
Sous Chef Job Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage culinary team.
Develop and plan menus, with compliments to the beer brewed at location
Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
Ensure compliance with ACHD health codes and regulations.
Train the kitchen staff
Inspect the kitchen for health and safety violations
Check the quality of the line cooks' work
Communicate with the front-of-house staff
Cook dishes yourself during rushes
Sous Chef Qualifications / Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
Understanding of menu and recipe development techniques
Strong leadership abilities
Ongoing awareness of culinary trends
Understanding of health and sanitation laws
Excellent knife-handling skills
Minimum 2 years of kitchen management experience
Salary: $47,000 - $52,000
